Van Taylor Declares Victory in Race for TX-03

FRISCO – Following the release of election results from Collin County this evening, Decision Desk HQ declared Van Taylor the winner in the race for Texas’ Third Congressional District.

Joined by family and supporters in Frisco, Van Taylor released the following statement:

“Representing Collin County in the United States Congress has been an incredible honor. While this has been a challenging year in so many ways, it’s the people of Texas’ Third Congressional District who remind me of why the United States is such an incredible nation.

“In a time when much of the country is divided by partisan politics, in true Texas fashion, Collin County has instead come together to support our neighbors, care for one another, and overcome every obstacle we may face.

“It is this compassion and thoughtfulness that is desperately lacking in Washington. And because of this, we must remain deliberate in our efforts to improve our community and repair our government.

“Collin County is the best place to live, work, and raise a family and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the place I love.”

Van Taylor is a 7th generation Texan, a dedicated family man, successful businessman, and decorated Marine Officer. Van Taylor served both in the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate prior to serving Collin County in Congress.
